Hi, Can Someone Tell Me If They Made A Withdrawal (loan) From Their 401k?

I am wondering if this is possible? I have the AON Hewitt(Savings and Investment 401K). People make it sound easy to do so. I know I have $$$$ in there, enough to even borrow um a good amount. Is there a limitation? Is there a catch to it? How long does it take to process and receive? Can I request direct deposit? Are loans processed daily including weekends? I see on the website it has General Purpose Loan and Hardship Loans, could I receive little from each? Serious people only please who have done so or have knowledge.
